In the province of East Java in 2017, 97% and 78% of girls had a minimum of one and four ANC visits to skilled attendants . Despite this access, many ladies suffered from issues; and the reported MMR in East Java was 91 per 100,000 reside births in 2017, with 534 maternal deaths.
